Permanent Pothole Repair is a permanent asphalt paving material approved according to BBA/HAPAS for repairs of streets and roads.
The repair is permanent and has a high friction value unlike other temporary repairs such as oil gravel or recycled asphalt. The surface is ready to drive on immediately after the work has been completed. Permanent Pothole Repair comes in flexible 25 kg buckets that prevent bitumen leakage. The gravel size is 3mm.

Permanent Pothole Repair comes packaged in 25kg buckets. In other words, no leaking sacks!
The surface to be repaired is first brushed clean from loose gravel and dust.
The surface to be repaired must first be sprayed with SCJ-Bitumen spray.
The surface and edges to be repaired must first be copiously sprayed with SCJ-Bitumen spray. If there is no old coating under the damage, the edges will suffice.
Pour an appropriate amount of asphalt into the hole/damage. Remember that the material should be packed properly afterwards so do not skimp.
Distribute the asphalt in an even layer, preferably with a straight.
The asphalt should be packed properly with a hand tamper, or suitable mechanical alternative.

When the asphalt is packed properly, it is very important to seal the joint between the old and the new asphalt! Spray with SCJ Spray and sprinkle some fine sand on top.
